Whimsical at Whisky & Wood
By Avya Trotter-Hlavac
Have you ever wondered what could happen when a talented team of vendors have free reign in an industrial loft space? I'll tell you what - magic like this. "Whisky & Wood was the perfect venue for this Styled Shoot. The 8m tall ceilings and structural beams meant that Mindy and Gretta from Twig & Arrow could create a stunning, sculptural column of roses and smoke bush. These botanical touches set the scene for the beautiful couple. Candy from Paperswan selected a stunning pearl veil, and so we went to town with the smoke machine. The way the smoke, light, and pearls played off each other - ICONIC." — Sarah from Whisky & Wood Top wedding planning tips from the team at Whisky & Wood: 1. Seek out the creators/vendors that inspire you and make you feel comfortable. 2. Think about what you and your partner love, what bonds you and what reflects your personalities. Think, how can you thread these things into your day? 3. Let your vendors get to know you a little and give them some trust - that's when the magic happens!
