Styled Shoot: Autumn Enchantment

Rich and vibrant autumn colours were the inspiration for this Magnolia Wedding and Events styled shoot, with intense reds, cinnamons and rusts sprinkled with highlights of amber and gold. “The colours of the leaves as the season changes from summer to Autumn,” they shared, “evoke a sense of mood and wonder.” An outlook to the future inspired this shoot. “It’s a reminder of moving forward and looking to the future - sharing amazing talents that inspire and remind us all that we are in this together, and together, amazing things can happen.” Autumn is a wondrous time of change and renewal; it elicits thoughts of warmth and the promise of something beautiful in more ways than one. It was their hope to showcase that rekindling in a display of vivid hues and collaborative talent. Magnolia played a pivotal role in this shoot, championing everything from concept design to styling. The vendors were handpicked for their creativity and passion, working in tandem to bring their vision to reality. Wendy Bowie Photography captured the essence of the concept with her photographic expertise. The outstanding Astra Bridal Gowns, gorgeous Stationery by The Ess Letter, superb natural Linens from Tble. Linen, Zoe The Makeup Artist, and Veronica Zhou Hairstyling were all part of the team that created the fine details, weaving the shoot into something magnificent. They chose Public Trust Hall, a classic space selected for its timeless and elegant ambience. This iconic Wellington building that has recently undergone a stunning renovation. “So much thought has gone into the refurbishment of this venue,” they said. “[It’s] perfect for events, with amazing architectural photo opportunities and beautiful lighting.” Blending contemporary style with bursts of colour, Magnolia has succeeded in making a gorgeous statement with this shoot. Its foundation rests on the evocative words of Lauren DeStefano: “[Autumn] has always been my favourite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”
