Everything ran very smoothly with so many of the details catered for making wedding preparations as relatively stress free as it can be. Communication was always prompt answering any question. With the option of ceremony, photos, reception and accommodation on site, not to mention the beautiful outside and inside areas, it really is the ideal location for a stress free wedding in the Wellington region.

Just wanted to write a wee note to say THANK YOU so so much to Cheryl & Bruce and their amazing team.
Everything went just like clock work with the care and attention they gave in preparation, on the day and afterwards. It was seamless, stress free and we had an amazing wedding with friends and family.
Wallaceville House is such a great location away from city, quiet with beautiful surrounding trees and the house itself. Having the accommodation also enabled us to make a weekend of it and enjoy friends n' family that came from afar.

Wallaceville House is an excellent wedding venue. It is a perfect location with beautiful surroundings at the foot of Orongorongo's. Excellent accommodation with plenty of room in the apartments. The staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to get married or just a break away from city life.

We just want to write to express our deepest thanks for the amazing, wonderful job you and your staff did for our wedding.

Everything ran so smoothly without a hitch and it was great being able to relax knowing that everything was taken care of. Even leading up to the wedding, everything was simple to organise and coordinate.

The staff were just lovely, and everyone commented on what a great team was on that evening. The two ladies that served the bridal table were just wonderful, I’m terrible and I can’t remember their names but please pass on our thanks to them and also to the girls who set up the tables, everything just looked perfect.

All our guests have commented on how beautiful the venue was and on how AMAZING the food was, oh my gosh, so many choices and all delicious. Everyone had a really great time.

We really can’t express our gratitude enough for everything, so thank you again just so much.

First, take in the surroundings, then meet your hosts and have a chat, finally relaxing with your partner and / or friends with a wine , beer and cheese platter. The breakfast the next morning is a absolute treat. The staff can't do enough for you . Take the opportunity and stay at least three days . Our self driving touring group are definitely returning to this Gem of accommodation , our group decided to stay at Wallaceville rather then Wellington , Ten out of Ten !

Totally recommend Wallaceville house if you are looking for a stress free wedding and amazing food and service. Everything you need is there, staff are professional and friendly and bruce and cheryl just make planning so easy and ensure things all run smoothly. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and makes for a charming setting. We had a fabulous wedding and stay there in the weekend.

Beautiful gardens with Olde worlde 1970s charm. In need of a bit of an update but it's a nice location for weddings with lovely gardens, a dell for outdoor weddings in summer, and onsite accomodation for out of town guests. A great Upper Hutt wedding venue.

Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding, the organization and effort put in was astounding. Our guests were so impressed with your facilities and with the professionalism you showed. As a bride I felt completely at ease, which can’t be easy to do! Charn made the day run so smoothly, and our parents would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation. The staff that waited our tables were fantastic, courteous and more professional than we expected. The cleaning staff also made us feel welcome and put in such a huge effort to turn all the rooms around, and even offered to help us put up our own portacot! We had such a lovely time because of the effort put in by your staff and they have made our memories more precious. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

First of all I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you did leading up to our day, and on the day! I know it’s your job but Shane and I really felt that you went the extra mile, and we just felt you knew what we wanted like you were on the same level. Nothing was too much effort for you, you sorted out the alcohol we wanted without having to. The tables were stunning, the service on the day was excellent, the food was great and we had so many comments about it. Mum and Dad thought the whole night was great and that you did an excellent job as well.

Hi Charn,
We are now settling back into normal life in the UK and are finally getting around to thanking people for all their help regarding our wedding.
We really cannot thank you enough for making the day so perfect for us. People keep asking me how I found organizing the wedding from the other side of the world, and even when I try to think of something that didn’t go to plan, to make for an interesting story … I can’t ! This was all because of the professionalism and well run service provided by everybody at Wallaceville House made it such a stress free event for us, and for that we are so grateful.
Your help and assistance in responding to all my queries (no matter how strange!) was so reassuring, and nothing was too much trouble for you.
