SilverStream Retreat’s peaceful environment is dedicated to creating a memorable occasion for your wedding. Whether inside or outside, elaborate or intimate, Silverstream Retreat is the ideal location for your big day.
We offer two distinct wedding venues: the Boardwalk complex incorporating the Boardwalk Garden, and The Pillars room. Our timber rafters and ambient lighting add to the characteristic modern rustic feel of our wedding reception venue.
The Boardwalk Complex
The complex incorporates a foyer and café area with its beautiful stone fireplace and rustic furniture. This leads into The Boardwalk garden and the main Rafters room.
The high ceiling with rustic rafters and ambient lighting greet you when you walk through the grand entrance. Beautiful original polished wood floors add to the charm of this area.
The Pillars
The rustic wood beams and river stone columns compliment the light airy feel in this gorgeous room. The bi-fold doors open out onto the expansive deck, and private courtyard. This courtyard is the ideal location for your wedding ceremony, a memory to last a lifetime.
This stylish function room has superior technological facilities including advanced lighting, air-conditioning and heating systems, all set in a beautiful contemporary space.
With a seating capacity of 120 guests, The Pillars has been designed as an intimate place for the wedding reception your guests will always remember.
Wedding receptions are held in the Rafters Room. This attractive room has natural wood rafters, along with state-of-the-art multimedia screen, lighting and audio equipment.
A stage area has been installed and can be used as a platform for the bridal party. The large double doors open out into the Boardwalk Garden and courtyard.
The Rafters Room has seating capacity for 248 including the bridal table.
The Boardwalk Garden
For elegant outdoor weddings, this peaceful green plateau makes a magical backdrop for any wedding photo. The rustic gazebo overlooks the bush and river beyond, and makes this the most romantic place to exchange your wedding vows. The Boardwalk platforms are perfect for musicians and the large covered area can also be used for undercover dining.
