WOW Cathie and her team at Brackenridge, gave me and my wife the most out of this world amazing wedding we could of ever dreamed of.
From the second we arrived at Brackenridge to look for a venue we knew in our hearts we had found the perfect venue for all our needs.
We are a gay couple, and we had come across some prejudice from buy our engagement rings to finding a venue, but Cathie made us feel like family the second we arrived. With having two brides they have the perfect venue for both being able to walk down the aisle together, to having accommodation for our guest to stay over.
We had a two day event, booked out the night before and night of the wedding, for us and all our guest. Cathie worked with us, though all the multiple changes to the guest list, which was right down to the day. Nothing was ever to much bother, she walked us through everything, giving great advise, the whole team at Brackenridge were and are AMAZING. We always felt like we were dealing with family.
My mother had to have major surgery one week before the wedding, Cathie and the team went out of their way to make things easier for my mum, changing the seating for the wedding, moving her cottage so she was closer. Ensuring that she was waited on during the day and evening. I could not of asked for more, took a lot of stress of me as the bride for the day.
We all arrived the day before, it was cold and wet, they made everyone a hot drink, let us sit around the fire, helped everyone check in. Helped us get things ready for the next day, in fact they did everything with the set up, all we had to do was say yes or no to what we wanted.
The cottages are amazing, and nobody wanted to go home after the wedding, everyone wished they could of stayed on. Every little thing is through of and catered for within the cottages and those farm fresh eggs for breakfast, OMG they were delish. The wood was restocked in the morning and I am pretty sure it has been done again by the time we got back from the reception as the fire was on in our room.
Cathie and the team made sure that nothing was left to chance, they made our special day, was true perfection and the PRINCESS dream come true.
