Boomrock is situated just 30 minutes out of Wellington, and only 6 minutes by helicopter ride – a service we offer, particularly for you, the bride and groom. Our gorgeous outside venue overlooks views of Cook Strait. Activities such as clay bird shooting and extreme golf are offered for the guests while you are having your photos taken. The venue comfortably accommodates up to 90 seated guests, and up to 130 in a cocktail setting. Champagne on arrival, canapés with celebratory drinks, and a three course meal are provided by our talented chef, Mark Hartstonge. The menu choices are endless, with an option to design your own, and the ingredients are sourced from local markets and private growers throughout the country.
