The Directory is where you'll find the perfect venue, photographer, dress, suit and so much more for your wedding. Just mouse over the menu tab to see the full range of categories.

Every category is packed with beautiful high resolution images, videos, a detailed business description of what they offer and full contact details including social media links. Shortlist those you love to keep track of notes about them, and use the enquiry form to quickly fire out requests for quotes.

You'll find that your enquiry details will autofill so you can easily request more information from many different vendors with a minimum of effort.


Showcase

Our Wedding Showcase is a beautifully curated showcase of real Wellington weddings, designed to inspire you as well as giving you a first-hand look at what various venues, photographers and other suppliers can do.

We update the Wedding Showcase quarterly with the city's most beautiful weddings. Every showcase features 50 - 80 gorgeous professionally shot photographs, as well as comprehensive details on every aspect of each wedding - How We Met, Our Wedding Style, The Dress, Hair & Makeup, The Ceremony, The Reception and Advice for Brides To Be.

At the bottom of each showcase, you'll find contact details for all Wellington Weddings vendors featured.


Blog

Our Wedding Blog features expert advice from Wellington wedding vendors, such as the best time to have your wedding photo shoot, how to pick your first dance song, tips for bridesmaids much more. All articles are written by Wellington wedding experts for Wellington brides.

We update the blog at least once a week with articles covering everything from budgeting tips, top 10 lists, promotion of upcoming wedding events, competitions and recent trends as well as tips and secrets from the best in the business.

I am based in the Wellington region, however, I am more than happy to photograph weddings within New Zealand, and internationally. "Larissa made our whole wedding experience just that much more special. Working with her was so relaxing from the moment we met, to the final photo production. She has a great sense of humor and instantly new what we wanted. The engagement shoot was a great way to practice being in the spotlight prior to the big day and gave us some great shots. She also taught us some classic photo moves that gave photos on the day a completely natural look. On our special day she arrived early and captured the whole wedding experience. Her photos really capture the love between Andrew and I. She captured the ceremony so beautifully and in complete stealth. It was only on viewing the photos that we realized how much effort she went into. Larissa made every effort to capture photos of friends and family enjoying themselves.

Every photo is a perfect memory, expressing the love felt on the day. We'd recommend Larissa to anyone - she was a real find!!!!!

Fineline Photography was fantastic for our wedding at Sudbury in January 2016. Not only is Larissa a fantastic photographer, but she's also very easy going and made us feel incredibly relaxed. Our photo's turned out brilliantly and we couldn't be happier with them. We received our photo's less than two weeks after our wedding, which is amazing turnaround and well within what Larissa committed to. Everyone has commented on how beautiful our photo's are and that's a testament to Larissa and the team at Fineline. Highly recommend and cannot speak highly enough of the quality and experience. We found FineLine photography to be extremely professional and friendly, offering a very helpful service not only on the day itself but right the way through the planning process, responding to emails promptly and offering suggestions.

The package we got from FineLine was extremely good value for money, and it was important to us to be able to get all our images on disc as we are more interested in sharing our photos electronically. FineLine have been excellent about letting us use our photos the way we want to.

Jenny and Brian took some absolutely beautiful shots on the day, and we will treasure them forever. We had a lot of peace of mind on the day knowing we were working with experienced people who had shot in both our venues before. We also did an engagement session with them with beautiful results we were able to weave into our wedding day.

We both felt very comfortable being directed by Jenny and Brian. They made us feel at ease and were great at getting the most out of us. They also got wonderful shots of the bridal party so they must have that effect on a lot of people!

I would definately recommend FineLine as a top choice for anybody planning their wedding in Wellington; award winning photographers without having to re-mortgage your house.

My hubby and I were first drawn to Fineline Design by the incredible shots on their website. We literally gasped when we saw them! After speaking to Jenny at the Wedding Show, we booked in and we couldn’t have been happier with every aspect of their service.

Jenny and Larissa are an amazing team and work really well together. They put us totally at ease during our engagement shoot, which was important for us, and it meant that we were completely relaxed on the big day. Most importantly, they took fantastic photos that we will always treasure. After almost 3 months, we’re still not tired of looking at them smile

Our package was really good value for money - especially since we had to have an extra shoot after our wedding because our post-ceremony shots got rained out…

We have no problems recommending these guys to anyone - we’ll be giving them a ring to take some family photos in a few years

Larissa and Brian were absolutely fantastic to deal with on our wedding day. They immediately made us feel at ease and I loved that Larissa was as excited about the day as I was! She really helped ease my nerves before I had to walk down the aisle. Photographers are a big part of your wedding day and I’m so glad we had 2 photographers who not only took amazing photos which we will treasure for a lifetime but they were incredibly fun to hang out with on the day. There were fresh ideas, they were up for anything and nothing ever felt posed or contrived. Our only regret is that we didn’t have them stay for the entire day until midnight!
We wanted 2 photographers so we could get different views and angles on the day and it was really important that we also had quality digital photos afterwards to print out at our heart’s content.

I highly recommend Fineline Design & Photography. I have done a Bachelor of Fine arts degree majoring in photography so I am very picky when it comes to quality and expertise but I am very happy with our wedding photos and I am so glad I picked Fineline! Thanks guys for an awesome day
